The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE) stated on Thursday that the Post-UTME Screening Exercise, which was previously planned to take place from Monday, October 25th to Saturday, October 30th, 2021, has been postponed.

This was said in a statement released by the University's Registrar, Mrs. Jane Omoyine, which was made available to journalists in Warri.

Candidates who had already enrolled for the exam were asked to reprint their confirmation page to double-check their revised exam dates.

"This is to inform all candidates who chose the University as their first choice Institution and scored 150 and above in the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), that the exercise will now take place between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm daily from Monday 22nd to Saturday 27th November, 2021."

"The registration period, which began on Monday, October 4th, 2021, will end on Wednesday, November 17th, 2021.

"Applicants should go to www.fupre.edu.ng, click on the "2021/2022 Post UTME Admission Screening Application" link, and complete their Post UTME registration by following the registration instructions on the website."

On the registration guidelines, the statement urged candidates to properly fill out the online form, following all relevant directions, emphasizing that purposeful disrespect of instructions, as well as apparent mistakes/wrong entries, would result in disqualification.

"It also urged candidates to use a PASSWORD that they can readily remember to enable them to view their results and confirm their admission status later," it stated.

“Use functional e-mail addresses and cell phone numbers so that the University can contact them during the Admissions Process if necessary.

"Go over their completed online form and double-check that all of the information is right." After that, click the 'SUBMIT' button and print the confirmation page of their registration. They should be aware that once they've submitted their information, they won't be able to change it."
