Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State, has paid tribute to Charity Maduka, the late wife of Coscharis Group founder Cosmas Maduka.
According to the release, Charity, who also served as Vice President of the Coscharis Group, died "peacefully" on Saturday in Nnewi, Anambra.
Mrs. Maduka, according to Obi's media office, was not only a faithful and God-fearing wife, but also a wonderful motivator whose support and partnership with her husband, Dr. Maduka, President of Cosharis Group, saw the company grow to become a national brand.
Obi, who described her passing as heartbreaking and irreplaceable, said she will be remembered for her exceptional and encouraging behavior both at home and at work.
The former vice presidential candidate appealed to God for her peaceful rest and for those she left behind, particularly her husband, to have the fortitude of mind to endure the loss, knowing she is resting in the arms of the Lord and praying for the family.
