Victor Osimhen has the potential to become the best striker in the world if he maintains his current high standards, Coordinator of Nigeria’s senior men national team – the Super Ragles, Patrick Paschal, has posited.
“Osimhen is one player that I have followed from his days with the U-17 national team and I have seen his game evolve so much and grown to become one of the first names on Gernot Rohr’s team sheet. I am happy with the rate he is developing, Paschal told
“He is fast, good with his head and uses both legs and blessed with a nose for scoring goals. Osimhen is not the kind of traditional centre forward that hangs around the penalty box waiting for long delivery to score goals, he falls back to help his defenders and his holdup play is excellent
“The Napoli striker has added something I saw in recent Super Eagles matches. He leads the high press during games and he is a leader on the pitch and dressing room. He is really improving every time in the Italian league and Super Eagles, this I think is good for his career and Nigeria,,” Paschal who is also a former Super Eagles stated.

Paschal continued: “At the rate Osimhen is developing, it won’t be long before he conquers the world as best striker. He ticks all the boxes of a potential world class player and I dare say he would win the African player of the year award sooner than expected,” the Bauchi state Football Association Chairman stated.
Osimhen is one of the top scorers in the Italia Serie A current season with four goals from and one assist from six games so far, as well as three goals from two games in the Europa League. And he leads the line Well for Super Eagles’ chase for AFCON success and 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification.
