Reading beat Peterborough 3-1 at home for only their second Championship win of the season. Tom Dele-Bashiru scored twice for the Royals.

With goals from John Swift and Dele-Bashiru in the space of three minutes midway through the second half, Reading took a 2-0 lead.


Swift opened the scoring with a 25-yard free-kick, his sixth goal of the season.

 


Then Dele-Bashiru scored his first goal for the club, latching on to a George Puscas pass.


Seven minutes later, though, Peterborough cut the lead in half when Thompson headed in a free-kick from Joe Ward at the far post.

But Dele-Bashiru stepped up again in the 88th minute, another fiercely struck effort whistling past Pym.
