He made this known on the backdrop of Chelsea’s 1-0 loss against Leicester City in Saturday’s FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium.
Leicester won the FA Cup for the first time in the club’s 137-year history as Youri Tielemans’s sensational strike beat Chelsea in front of 22,000 fans.
Speaking during Monday Night Football on Supersports, the Atlanta Olympic gold medalist stated that the Blues have lost 8 finals since 2015.
“If I am to follow those statistics, then Chelsea are specialists in losing the finals. They have lost about 8 finals since 2015, it’s massive.”
Chelsea take on Leicester City at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on today (Tuesday), with both sides looking to increase their chances of finishing in the top four of the table in order to qualify for next season’s Champions League
