Whatever you say about him, he has captured the Nigerian situation so succinctly. A nation where thieves become overnight saints by reason of association. Armed robbers are given a Halo because they belong while a fearsome, blood thirsty mob is unleashed on whoever dares to challenge, criticise, choose to be different or wear a different colour from the existing order! What sad and scary times these are…I keep asking, where is the Nigeria I grew up in, the Nigeria where as young students in school, we were driven by ideology yet even with the military in power, we dared to ask questions and we stood on the side of righteousness? What really has happened to my countrymen, where did we go wrong? When did the Zombie virus creep into this atmosphere?
