Nigerian Resident Doctors have their threat to the federal government by kick-starting a nationwide strike after despite the rising cases of COVID-19 pandemic.
Naja News recalls that the Doctors had threatened to commence a nationwide strike after the expiration of a 14-day ultimatum given to President Muhammadu Buhari led government.
The National Association of Resident Doctors of Nigeria (NARD )President, who announced this via a communique made available to Naija news
According to the communique he stated that the union has decided to exempt its members working in various coronavirus (COVID-19) isolation and treatment centres across the country.
Dr Sokomba, however, stated that exemption of the members attending to COVID-19 patients was for two weeks before they join the industrial action.
